    LINKS
    FRUIT
    CHERRY’S
    SWEET
    SOUR
    GRAPES
    SEEDLESS
    SEEDS

Inside of SimpleLinks “Should” links that are in the category’s of Sweet/Sour/Seedless/Seeds all appear in the list if you click on the category FRUIT? They are only listed in their own perspective category and not in the parent or the grandparent..YET they do appear.. What am I doing wrong? Or is that by design. My intuition says it should not be…but I have to ask

    Thanks for being prompt

apparently the editor removes all html..that example should look like this

    Fruit
    …….Cherrys
    ……………Sweet
    ……………Sour
    ……..Grapes
    …………….Seedless
    …………….Seeds

    Hello baltoed,

By default the category queries include all of the children categories as well.

I decided it gives users more control to only include the checked child categories and prefer it that way.

I have release version 2.9.3 which no longer includes the all child categories automatically.

    Enjoy

    Mat,

Thanks for the fork..or choice as it were. I follow your logic “computer wize” in the parent/child relationship. But in creating lengthy lists the reason to make subcategories is mostly to make some breakout. Anyways to this one here at least..lol..Thanks again for the choice. I for one am grateful for its existence now !
