Unclear how/when this plugin takes over the JS. Does JS minification, concatenation, or other option WITHIN Wp Rocket need to be enabled/checked in order for this to work, or does it do its thing automatically, without regard for Wp Rocket’s JS settings?

I have all JS stuff unchecked in Wp Rocket, and this plugin doesn’t seem to do anything. When I DO check to minify/concat JS in WPR, then I see it take over.

Please clarify in “Installation” what exactly needs to be enabled in Wp Rocket for this to work.

(And thanks for making this and the Async plugin available to WPR users!)

It is a drop-in replacement. So it uses the wp-rocket settings for its logic the best it can. It required wp-rocket to be installed as well. Same for the CSS plugin.

That makes sense, Thanks Derrick. That might be helpful in the Installation text – that JS settings in WPR are carried out by this plugin once it’s dropped in. (In other words, this does nothing if you don’t “tell” WPR to optimize JS.)

Works like a charm. Can optimize JS properly even when WPR’s own optimization breaks sites.

There are a lot of improvements I want to make on all my work, just takes time to do it.

    Have fun!
