properly sizing ads in header

    Hey guys I run http://www.truschoolsports.com/ and I’m trying to put an ad above the header. My theme is “simplemag” and everytime I copy the code into the ad code space in the theme options the ad doesn’t take up the whole header. The recommended size is 728×90 but thats not working, when I make the size hire nothing happens or the ad disappears. What do I do?
