    The short code gets the opt out iframe from Matomo itself. The proxy script takes care of the Piwik javascript code, but not of components like this iframe. (Just try to replace the URL with the proxy URL – you don’t get the iframe content.)

    You can write your own little proxy code to fetch the iframe content and add the iframe manually. This should be the easiest solution.

    I can also check if it’s possible to integrate the functionality directly to WordPress, but I’m not sure when I’ve time to do so.
