Proxy Posts not updating

    Hi, after configuration of Proxy-Posts Source Fields – when I want to recreate/update the Proxy Posts (Proxy Posts All Records) .. it starts to update the entries. “Processing X records” .. but it does not finish .. !

    I tried different settings and re-imported the CSV-File.. but not working.

    Is there a “custom bug” or something I could/shoud try? (Didn`t find an answer in Docs nor in Forum)

    The “proxy post all” function uses a background process to update all the proxy posts. If it is not completing, one of the main reasons for this is some kind of caching on your server, this would be some kind of database cache, which you should temporarily disable (if you can) while doing a “proxy post all” operation.

    Imporing using a CSV file will also use a background process, so if server caching is interfering with that, a CSV import in the background won’t work either.

    With CSV imports, you can choose to do it in the foreground, there is a setting in Participants Database under the advanced tab where you can select this.

    Turning plugin debugging on when doing any of these things can help you see what is going on.

    Thank you for your advice. Could solve the problem following your steps. It was a combination of Caching-Plugin and Server-Hosting Cache. Thx a lot!
