i am also wondering if this pulgin encrypts emails to the point that they are compliant with the HIPAA security regulations. the form i am wanting to create will send an email with patient contact info and credit card information.

As far as the email encryption, PGP does meet HIPAA requirements. Beyond that SimpleSecure itself doesn’t have any type of certifications. I don’t see why it wouldn’t meet the requirements because it basically just encrypts your message and doesn’t save the content anywhere.
