Yes, Public Subscribers will get notifications for all categories except those the are ‘Excluded’ in the Subscribe2->Settings page under the Registered Users tab.
Thanks for the response. What I’m trying to do is have one set of public users that get notifications for one category of postings, and another set of users to get notifications for another category.
Possible? Workarounds?

That’s not really how Subscribe2 is designed to work so would take some pretty major and extensive changes to make it work. You might be better looking for another solution or running Subscribe2 and an alternative solution side by side.
Fair enough. Been searching for another solution, haven’t found just the right one yet. Do you know of any others out there?

There is something in Jetpack but beyond that I don’t know because I use Subscribe2 successfully for my needs so I don’t need to look for alternatives.
