    Hello,

    Since the last plugin update of Jetpack, Publicize is randomly sharing a link back to the 6 websites I have it installed on, on every social media account it is linked to.

    Any ideas how to stop this? My clients are starting to complain.

    I’m sorry to hear you’ve run into issues.

    Is that always a same link, to the same post? Could you give me an example so I can take a closer look and try to understand what happened?

    Hello, I have Jetpack installed on over 15 websites, too many to list. But on all of the websites Publicize is automatically sending out a link to the website (just the homepage main URL) to all linked Social Media accounts.

    Do you happen to use Broken Link Checker on all 15 of your sites? If so, could you try to deactivate it on one of the sites, and let me know if it helps?

    Looking into this a bit more, do you happen to be a WordFence Premium customer? Do you use their scheduled scan feature? Do the Publicized posts match the time of the scans?

    We’ve just deployed a change on our end, to block those kinds of posts from being publicized, so hopefully that will help!
