Publicize and Facebook content problem

    Hello,

    I just configured my website to publish on Facebook but the problem is that it shares the entire post on Facebook rather than just the title and the exceprt. I couldn’t find any setting for this. This is a major problem for news sites since we need the Facebook audience to click on the links and read the news on our websites. As it is, it’s no use for us. We need it like Twitter, title, featured image and the excerpt.

    Is this possible?

    As I mentioned in the comments of the GitHub issue you found yesterday, Publicize doesn’t post the entire content to Facebook right, only the first 60 words are pulled.

    If you’d like, you can use the Publicize Details box appearing right above the Publish button to set a custom message before to publish your post. That custom message will then be used instead of the first 60 words of your post.
