The changelog for the newest version of Jetpack says:

Enhancement: Publicize: Enable opt-in publicizing of custom post types.

But after updating, the publicize options/info does not show up in the Publish box of post edit screen. My post is saved as draft.

Hi SussieT,

You need to modify the array that declares the custom post type. See here for more info:

Basically, you need to add ‘publicize’ to the CPT’s ‘supports’ array.

Thank you very much. Now I understand.
But I the CPT is created in a plugin, so I have to modify it in my child theme. Haven’t done that before, but I will try.

Hi SussieT , I am facing the same problem like you. My CPT is also created in a plugin. It is WP Job Manager plugin. Please tell the solution.
