• 12 hours ago the last post was published successfully on our facebook page, after that no posts where auto-published on facebook with Publicize.

I tried to uninstall and delete the plugin, installing it again and connecting to wordpress.com, but when I try to connect facebook to Publicize I get an error -32300 https://www.screencast.com/t/KWDmn8TNiDQ

In last week there was no plugin, theme core update performed that could affect this. I updated all now and it did not help.

On facebook developers, I get warning https://www.screencast.com/t/KwJdnUQnlyC

What could be the cause of this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey there, @daconix!

Thank you for reaching out to us about this Publicize issue.

While your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:

    http://press032.com/xmlrpc.php

This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:

XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

You can see a working example here:

    http://jetpack.com/xmlrpc.php

Since your site returns an error for this page, I would recommend that you check the following:

    1. Can you see the xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP?

    2. Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so, could you disable them?

    3. Does your hosting provider block access to this file? You may need to contact them to find out.

Let us know how that goes! 🙂

    Hi Mark,

    1. Yes xmlrpc.php is in public_html
    2. Yes I use Wordfence but disabling plugin didn’t help
    3. I can see now that it is probably the hosting, I’ll check with them and let you know.

    Hey there @daconix,

What Permission does this file need to have?

It should have the same default permission as the wp-config.php file as shown here.

    I get an error -32300

Can you have a look through this support article about error messages, please?

If you’re still having problems, please open a support ticket.

    Thanks,
