Currently, when you publish an attempt is made to send emails directly to all subscribers. The result is more delay and page post timeout 🙁
Can you use wp_cron to queue sending emails?

This is not a feature of Subscribe2 but can be implemented with another plugin. For example WordPress Mail Queue Stores the emails in a database table and sends them out in groups at intervals.
