    hello,

i’ve got a problem with frontier post plugin when i disable publish post for authors.

in fact i don’t want user tu publish post but i want to let them modify their post after publishing.

but when i disable publishing option, and able modify option, the users can’t modify the post. the plugin said ” you are not able to modify this post”.

is there a way to authorize modify after publishing but not authorize publishing without approved?

in the same time, it will be nice for the website’s admin to receive notification for every post modification.

wath do you think about this?

    best regards.

    Hi,

You are right, you are only allowed to edit the posts you created (author=User).

The only way you can achieve what you want, is if you do as below:
    – Disable add post option in Frontier settings.
    – Create each post as admin, and change the author to the person you want to be able to edit it. (You need to change the author in the back end, if not visible check screen options).

I might consider let users with editor profile edit other users posts (as per wp standard)

The email notifications: I am not planning to implement this, but I am sure you can find a plugin that does this 🙂
