But in the excerpt, I have 2 sentences. First sentence ends with a question mark, while the other one ends with a period. with the ending symbol, only the end of the excerpt changes and it’s uniform all through out the excerpts.
If you enter manually Excerpt text then if your words become 100 in average then use word limit 150 then it will not cutoff. And in Read more Excerpt ending keep empty.

I don’t think you’re understanding the issue. The punctuation problem is not simply with the end-of-excerpt punctuation.
For example, the previous two sentences would look like this:
“I don’t think you’re understanding the issue The punctuation problem is not simply with the end-of-excerpt punctuation”
but should look like this:
“I don’t think you’re understanding the issue. The punctuation problem is not simply with the end-of-excerpt punctuation.”
If you are understanding the issue correctly, the solution you have provided changes nothing for me.

ok I will add new settings for excerpt no limit so it will display default excerpt.This will fix this issue.

I have the same problem and it does not seem to be solved. In the limited excerpt we don’t see the dots “.” after each sentence.
An example:
It looks like this:
“I don’t think you’re understanding the issue The punctuation problem is not simply with…”
But should look like this:
“I don’t think you’re understanding the issue. The punctuation problem is not simply with…”
Can you see the difference? The period dots is missing.

This issue is fixed I know it is not only (.)
Issue was if use character or word limit then the punctuation will not work.
Like you have a sentence “WordPress is one of popular platform to build website.”
If you use limit 20 character or 5 words then it will show part of this sentence in this case we keep option “Excerpt more text like … this means it is not complete sentence it has more”
To use punctuation keep Excerpt Limit empty and add your excerpt in excerpt field it will show how you input there. It will work.
