Purchased / Countdown control version: Fails when adding a link

Purchased this great plugin BUT:

When I replace entire countdown upon a live event and add text, or an image linking to itself it works great.

However, when I have text that I link to with an external link, or link an image to an external link: I get this result: http://rgtsf.org/countdown/ (event countdown going into negative numbers) Again when its just text/image works flawlessly if it has some form of external link it does not work and produces the following result (in the link above) Please advise.
