Purchasing a domain name through wordpress

    Hi.

    I have a website created through WordPress using the Enfold theme.

    My domain name is registered through Namecheap.

    I want to purchase a .net or.com domain through WordPress, however I have tried looking everywhere and do not know where to go to purchase a new domain name. It has become very confusing and I am quite frustrated.

    What I want to also know is I am aware I cannot transfer a domain name through WordPress to my hosting provider Namecheap, however I know I can point my name servers to the domain I purchase through WordPress. Am I correct in that?

    I also want to know if I purchase a domain name through WordPress such as a .com or. net it is only for personal use, not to make money or obtain funds from anyone, it simply is a WordPress site. I don’t want to go through the rubbish of having to fill out loads of forms on why I just want a .com or.net address. I simply just want to buy a .com or.net domain name and be done with it and have no further issues.

    Am I able to do this without having to go through the quite frankly crap of having to then register my domain name to authorities. In my opinion that is ludicrous I should have to do so when all I want is a website with a .com or .net address.

    Could you please clarify all this for me and point me in the direction via a link of where I go to purchase a domain name through WordPress.

    I do not want to be directed to a page where it tells me to create a website through WordPress, I just want to go straight to where I can buy a domain name with .net or.com through WordPress.

    Could you please send me further instruction on how to do so and clarify all other information I am asking about please so I can move on and forward with this now. I am tired of trying to sort this issue out and been dealing with a very frustrating issue now for days.

    You can’t. That doesn’t exist. I believe WordPress.COM has that as an option but you are asking in the wrong place and need to ask in the correct forum if you want to use WordPress.COM.
