Purpose of "Shortcode Embeds" module with WP4.0x

    hello, thanks for the jetpack plugin – it’s really useful and simple to use.

    I’m trying to cut down on the clutter by deactivating the modules I do not need or use.

    I see that with WordPress 4.0x, many popular sites can now be automatically embeded into one’s posts.

    may I just clarify then – what’s the use of the Shortcode Embeds module now?
