put a form into an iframe

First i would like to say that I’m a complete newbie to wordpress, coding world.. so excuse me for lack of knowledge. But I’m trying very hard to build a site! 🙂
I have a question which could be simple for the experts, but I just can’t seem to find the solution.What I’m trying to do:
I’m trying to put a form (created by Contact Form 7) into an iframe.
I only have the shortcode of the form and I don’t know how to execute this shortcode inside ‘<iframe src=””></iframe>’Reason for needing to do this:
I’m trying to open the form in a lightbox (using lightbox plus colorbox). If the form is not in an iframe, the modal closes automatically when the ‘submit’ button is clicked. To prevent the modal from closing, I read a suggestion online to put the form inside an iframe. And this is where I run into a problem.I hope someone can help me out here. Also please consider that I’m a total beginner, so an easy explanation would be very very helpful.
