I am working on a new bilingual website and I chose to use the qTranslate X plugin, as it was compatible with the Visual Composer plugin that comes with the Arkitekt theme. It all was going fine, and I’ve already created many pages and been able to translate them. However, when I’ve added the plugin into the main menu, the little flags that are supposed to show up (or the plugin integration) is not working well. Instead, I see the source code of the image on the main menu. Is there any way to fix that? Thank you in advance!

    Hi Gunu,
    thank you for your reply!
The site is currently still private, as it still hasn’t been launched… If I share the link with you, it should be with the login details, as we are using a construction mode plugin at the moment. Not sure if we can do that…
We are working with the Visual Composer, SEO Yoast, WP Construction Mode, Revolution slider… And qtranslate X. I think that’s all.

    Thanks for your help!

    Visual Composer WPBakery?
If so you also need this – WPBakery Visual Composer & qTranslate-X

For SEO Yoast you also need this – WordPress SEO & qTranslate-X

Do you use – Appearance – Menus – Language Switcher?

    Hi Gunu,

yes, we were already using the two plugins you listed but still it doesn’t work…
Likewise, we used the Language Switcher in the Appearance > Menu, and when we added it to the main menu (and it is supposed to show the flags for proper language switching), it just shows the source code of the image on the menu bar… For the rest, the qTranslateX plugin is working perfectly, it is just that it doesn’t seem to be integrating well in the menu.

    Thank you!!

We have seen this before: see this topic

I set “Title Attribute” to language name in the code by default, which fixed this issue under all other themes, but not this one. Then I set “Title Attribute” manually on this theme and the theme seems to ignore it anyway. Ask them to report the issue to theme developers

See that “Title Attribute” shows up correctly.
