qTranslate X with Redirection plugin

I’m using qTranslate X Version 3.4.6.4 on WP 4.4.2. I’m also actively using the Redirection plugin (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/redirection/) v2.4.4.
What Redirection does is allow me to easily set up redirects such as http://www.mydomain.com/redirect to go to http://www.mydomain.com/site/page/redirect.
The problem I’m having is that qTranslate X is adding my language prefix automatically to URLs, so http://www.mydomain.com/redirect is going to http://www.mydomain.com/en/redirect which then breaks the redirect I have set up in Redirection.
When I was previously using the qTranslate plugin (previous to qTranslate X) this never was a problem.
Has anyone else run in to this? Or is there a way to resolve the issue? It’s a site that’s been around for a while so we have hundreds of redirects set up through Redirection that we need to continue to keep working.
