i would also like to be able to accomplish this Make the parent menu item highlighted. please share the code (also note i seem to have an issued maybe with the code i tried to add that highlights all the children when i am on the main nav page.

I don’t know why this topic was tagged as solved as there is no resolution posted on this yet.
I am still waiting for this to happen though I just created a custom javascript and css to patch their bugs.
