Sorry but I found now the way now to make it happen:
No need to make the Disounts and Product List from the “Discount” tab in the admin
but to make the disount from within the product.
This way it will give the discount based on the specific product quantity and not the whole cart products quantity.
Thanks for the great plugin!
If you truly love our plugin and want to give us a thumbs up, a review here https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woo-advanced-discounts/reviews/#new-post will warm our heart for the day 🙂
Sure. Just gave 5 stars.
If I may ask another question with the free version –
quantity discount for several products.
Example: 1 bottle of juice cost $5
1 bottle of lemon cost $5
1 bottle of coke cost $5
I want that 3 bottles in cart will give $1 discount on each bottle no matter what king of bottle in cart (each bottle is a different product).
Another note – can not give a discount for the whole category because there are some other products in this category which I do not want to give them a discount.
Both free version can allow you to setup a discount for any group of product you need (based on a common property such as the category, tags, price and so on). If they have something in common, the plugin can handle a dynamic list based on that property in common. If not you can setup a specific list using the products IDs.
Regarding the ability to create a discount if 3 bottles are in the cart no matter which one, only the pro version can allow you to do that.
Thanks.
Correct me if I’m wrong but when I make a discount for a group of products I need to do it in the “Discounts” and if I make a discount per quantiy I can only choose ‘quantity in cart’ in the free version so if I want to make a discount for 3 bottles, the discount will apply also for 2 bottles if there is another product in cart (so total cart quantity is 3).
Oh my bad I misunderstood. Yes that’s possible in the free version but it will work no matter which products are added to the cart, wether they are in the list or not. So if the number of products in the cart is 3, then the discount will be applied.
What won’t work is trying to setup the discount is the number of products within a list (let’s assume that the products are in the bottles category) equals 3. The free version will apply the discount no matter if the products in the cart are part of the list but the pro version will also allow you to only count the products within the list.
OK. Well understood.
Thanks again.
