Thanks for the plugin. Works well. I just needed to ask this question ASAP in a relevant area.

I’m using the “Free, with ads” edition of Google Custom Search. Is anyone of you facing any query limits issue? I’ve read that the custom search API has a limit of 100 queries/day? I think that would require an API key creation, correct? I hope we don’t have any limits with using the search engine ID with this plugin..

This plugin calls Google CSE API from your WordPress site.
Please ask Google if they have any limitation.

Some more details:

The plugin uses “Custom Search Element Control API”, and does not use “Custom Search JSON/Atom API”. (The latter has a limitation, but we do not use it: https://developers.google.com/custom-search/json-api/v1/overview?csw=1)

So according to our information the used Custom Search Element Control API has no limitation. You can ask Google to get the actual and exact information.
