‘Query Loop’ Block is being hidden on choosing a Post Template Pattern

Hi I noticed this issue AQL block being hidden as soon as you select a pattern for the loop template after updating to WordPress 7.0. But actually its an issue with the core Query Loop block.
So i added an issue here https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/78930
Apparently the parent loop block is being deliberately hidden because https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/75760
Which makes no sense to me at all, anyway, just thought other users of AQL must be encountering this issue too?
