    First, I have done the add time code to the plugin and I know I’ve done everything correctly but the time isn’t showing up by each chat “post”.

    Also, the chat rooms that I have aren’t exceptionally active, but it seems that when someone does post something, all it takes is for another post to make their initial post to disappear at the top. In an ideal world the posts would start scrolling up when the chat box is or starts to get full but that’s not that case. Is this a bug?

    hi everlonglp. I hope to give the plugin a good tire kick and add in the timestamp for messages, so that I can assure that they are working properly for a future release.

    Not quite sure what’s up with your disappearing messages part. I know the plugin uses a bit of javascript animate() to take care of this, but it may need to be refactored a bit. I’ll note it down as a potential bug and check on it.

    I am actually seeing similar behavior. Something clears out previous posts as if the file is being overwritten – it seems to happen when their is a pause in the chat – and then it picks up again.

    Been awhile since I looked at it, but I believe it should only be appending the chats, not overwriting the file. It was coded to keep chat logs for the day.
