Question about Admin Subscription

    In Your notification settings panel there is “Automatically subscribe me to newly created categories”. If I select No and then I select all categories I receive an email when I publish a new article. So, why does not the No option work?

    If a new category is created on the site (not a new post or page, but a new taxonomy heading for categorising the post) then that setting will either automatically subscribe you to that new category or not – depending on how it’s set.

    It has no bearing on current categories, if you don’t want post notification that option needs set to No and all categories need to be deselected.
