Question about Ads Impressions

    Hi guys,

    I want to ask as lately the ads impressions are almost same as my page views, but I have more ads on all pages so the number of page views to be almost the same to the number of the ads impressions. For example on some pages I have 6 – 10 or sometimes for my guides with 5k words more than 15 ads. So for 1 page view I should get minimum 6 page impressions but I’m getting as every page view got only one or 2 impressions of the ads. I checked and sometimes not all ads are shown but still to get only one or two page impression per page view is really low?

    For example this happens for the traffic from the US and before 2 months I was getting all impressions as I should, but I was having this problem from the traffic from EU than. Not sure what could be the problem.

    Not sure if this could make problems but recently that period I update the php version to 8.3 from 8.2 and that is the only major change, everything is the same, not sure why would have this change in the stats.

    If someone have this kind of experience in the past, I would be grateful if you offer some help.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    I recommend testing your setup in the cases you described one by one to analyze and identify possible filling issues of your ad inventory. Checking for error messages in your browser’s console log and trying to fix these in the first place.

    Fill issues are often caused by the ad network itself, and ad places stay empty because there is no inventory available. A high bounce rate is also to consider.

    This change does also not raise suspicion on my end and should not be causing the reported behavior. I recommend trying to analyze the ways ads on your page stay unfilled and investigate the possible circumstancis as mentioned above.
