Question about multiple images

    Hello. I’ve been using imagify and have a quick question on how it works as a novice to how image optimising works.

    I noticed after images are optimized that multiple images appear for the 1 image within my uploads files.

    For example I load one image but end up with 16 versions at different sizes when I view via FTP. As these all take up space I’m just curious why this happens given I thought the key was to make website faster not heavier?

    Sorry for the late answer.

    When you optimize your images, only the original size has a backup version if you have the backup option activated.
