Hi,
since the button does seem to work when you are logged in, could you try to clear all the caches the website uses? It’s likely non-logged in users see a cached version of the page with an http:// buy button link. Clearing all caches the site uses should resolve the issue. If it doesn’t, can you provide us with your site address so we can have a look?
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Dear Mark. Thank you. I checked again and its now working. Quite possibly it was the cache issue although I had deactivated my cache plugin before installing this plugin.
Not sure if I need to open another ticket but I have another question.
I created a new property on Google for the website as per the plugin instructions as well as resubmitted a new sitemap since nothing was being recorded for the website. Do I need to set up new properties using both www and non-www?
Right now I’m observing how quickly the change in http url is being picked up by Google.
Once again, thank you for making life simple.

How to set up Google Analytics depends on whether your property is prefix validated or domain validated. You can follow the instructions in this article to determine if your site is prefix or domain validated: https://really-simple-ssl.com/knowledge-base/how-to-setup-google-analytics-and-google-search-consolewebmaster-tools/.
When your site is domain validated Google will automatically pick up https:// traffic. It it’s prefix validated you indeed have to add the https:// and https://www properties, depending on if your site uses https:// or https://www. Google should start tracking visits soon after making these changes.
