Question about “Post Views”

    Hi !

    First of all, thank you for the amazing plugin. I’ve used it for about a year (got it when I bought the theme Once).

    I have a question regarding the “Post Views” feature. For the moment, I’ve been using a different plugin to display the number of views on my posts.
    I would like to use the Powerkit feature now, and for that, I need to disable the other plugin. I’m afraid that the number of views will be reset to 0 if I do that.
    Will the “Post Views” feature be able to retrieve the total number of views ?
    I see that it will be linked to my Google Analytics account, so I suppose that it will be able to display the total number of views since the publication of the post ?

    Hello,

    Please accept my apologies for the delay.

    The number of post views won’t be reset if you switch to Powerkit. You may even revert to the Post Views Counter if you have to at a later stage too.

    Yes, the Google Analytics synchronization will allow displaying the total post views since the publication of the post.

    Hi,
    No worries, thank you for answering.

    I set up the client ID and connected my Google Analytics account, but the page views are not displayed on my website. Am I missing something ?

    I had no issue with Post Views Counter, the number of views was displayed properly in the meta of my posts.

    Please allow some time for the post views to get populated and make sure that there’re post views in the Google Analytics dashboard for those pages.
