Question about recurring donations
-
Hi Jonas
First of all, congratulations for your wonderful plugin. It shows that it has been developed with love.
The reason for writing is because I am configuring the possibility of making recurring donations for a website and I have followed the guide that you have shown in your documentation along with the free plugin “Subscriptions for WooCommerce” developed by WPSwings.
To do this, I have created a simple product with the boxes marked indicating that it is a “Virtual” & “Subscription” & “Donation” product.
In the product data:
- In the “General” tab I have put a “Normal price” of €1,000
- In the “Subscription settings” tab I have indicated that the interval is 1 year.
- And in the “donation form” tab in the “Layout of ammount suggestions” field I have indicated the second option “Radio/button selection” and I have indicated some suggested amounts for the recurring subscription. €1,000, €2,000, €3,000 (per year).
With this layout, as I see, in the product page also allows the option to indicate a personalized amount so that the users themselves can indicate what amount they want to contribute.
I simply wanted to confirm with you that although in the regular price I have set a base price (€1,000) and that it is a subscription product, the user could, by configuring the plugin in this way, choose between the three options that I have predefined (€1,000, €2,000, €3,000) or even the user could also indicate a personalized amount that they want to be charged on a recurring basis. Can it work correctly this way also when it is a single product configured as a subscription?
In case it influences anything, I must indicate that the payment gateway associated with the website where I am configuring it is Stripe.
Thank you for your help and congratulations again on your wonderful plugin, which is very well thought out and so far works perfectly.
