Question about table formatting (alignment issues)

I am trying to set up some basic tables (images in one column, text in the other), and I am having some strange display issues. I have pasted the code into other text editors, and the results appear fine. But if you look at this page: http://www.technicor.ca/blog/?page_id=8 there are some weird alignment issues. The text and the images should be vertically aligned.

I am not code expert, but I can’t see what I am doing wrong. Is there some CSS styling I am not aware of that could be affecting the layout?
