Hello,

I dont want to change the existing URLs of my site and posts
I want to add a few languages and I now
have this structure, and want only add a language short symbol

german —> http://www.my-site.de/new-article-about-xyz/

maybe blog in english
english —-> http://www.my-site.de/en/news-about-sport/

and may be spain
spain ——> http://www.my-site.de/sp/mm-span……
another question, when I register in english or switch to english, can I see the posts in other languages ?

no problem. This structure is absolutely OK… What do you mean with “see the posts in other languages”?

and for every language I have an extra dashboard ?
Are the posts,in different languages, in the same database ?

Yes, every site (or language) has an extra dashboard and because of that the posts are stored in different tables.

Okay,

after I installed this plugin, my URL looks like this

http://www.my-site.de/blog/…..

How can I remove this word blog from the URL or change it to

http://www.my-site.de/de/….. ?

This has nothing to do with the Multisite Language Switcher but with the WordPress Multisite. The primary site has a “blog” added to some urls. All other blogs in the network will have a normal url structure.

I don’t know if this here works but it looks good: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/remove-blog-slug/
