Hi,
Sure, I can tell you more.
Until this version you could change the width of the event details (= container with date, time, location, etc) to max 60% of the available space. In last update I’ve changed that width to max 80%. Or you can override this and display the event details on top, which means full width and above the event text (same as in widget).

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you have any screenshots showing examples of this new feature? I think that will help me wrap my head around it more.

No screenshot right now, but it looks the same as when using the widget. Normally event details and event info are next to each other in the same row, but now you can also display them in separate rows, event details on top.

Ok so in my case I have the event title going all the way across, then under that the details, then the other text. (1 row across with 2 columns under that.) So with this update, am I understanding it correctly that it could transform what I have to 3 rows instead of 1 row / 2 columns? Hope that makes sense.

See this temp image.
As you can see there are 2 “blocks” in this new view, first event details and underneath the event info.
To be clear, the plugin update will not mess up current event lists. It only extends current display settings.
But, if you have created something similar now with custom styling, you may not need that styling any longer, as the plugin has a setting for it now.

Ah I see now, thanks for the image, that helps a lot. I will update soon and cross my fingers it doesn’t mess with how I have it, as I liked what I did, lol. Thanks for clarifying, I really appreciate it! 🙂

You’re welcome.
If I understand correctly your event title is on top (full width) and underneath that the other event details on 1 side and event info on other side. Pretty certain my update does not mess with that, unless your custom CSS still contains custom widths (saw that in your other topic). Those widths are not needed because you can do the same with the plugin settings.

You are correct with how I have it laid out. My custom CSS is more formatting of text than shifting of column widths, but I will double check that before I proceed. 🙂
