Have any Wordfence users had issues with Wordfence interfering with a Google Adwords campaign? I’m troubleshooting a possible issue with Wordfence preventing Google from accessing our site such that our AdWords campaign isn’t running but I’m not able to find the actual cause of this. So, I’m looking at the Wordfence side and the Google side.

Has anyone here had any issues with Wordfence interfering with a Google Adwords campaign?

    Thanks!

  • Google AdWords has issues with Wordfence’s Country Blocking…. on one of my client’s sites, I had to set it such that the site is accessible to all countries, but just the login/backend components are country-restricted.

This is done by unchecking the “Block access to the rest of the site (outside the login form)” option.

After doing this, AdWords was working for my clients, again.

Thanks for the info. Our site is a single page. I’ll definitely look into the country blocking setting.

    Thanks again!

It would apply to a single-page site as well, since it’s really just differentiating between accessing the front-end part of the site (public-facing) – whether that’s one or more pages – and the back-end of the site (the Login and Admin pages).

    Great! Thanks!

We dont have full wordfence or country blocking, but even our host 1and1 sees the activity as malicious wp-content / wflogs / attack-data.php
