Question on format date in comment

Hi, i’ve discovered recently this comment and it’s amazing. Maybe it’s a dumb question, but i can figure out how to use the date_ format.

My code is follow :

[comments type=advert count=5] [comment content] par [comment author] sur [comment title-link] le [comment date_format="l, F j, Y"] [/comments]

It is the good syntax ?
