Hi!
It all happens automagically.
For example, lets say you set the threshold to 10. Every time an idea is voted on (up or down) it tallies them as total votes. Every time a “up” vote happens, it tallies up votes. So when 10 people vote on something, it triggers the automatic status process. It will look at the total number of UP votes, and if its greater than the number you set (10) then it’s automatically approved. If the total votes reaches 10, and the yes votes are below 10, then its declined.
You can manually adjust these by going into each idea in admin, into the edit idea page, and adjusting the status there.
Nevermind on the manually setting status part of that question. I guess I didn’t scroll down far enough on the actual edit post page to see the Idea Status widget.
However, when I go to the list of ideas and click quick edit is where I see that the only statuses available are the usual Published, Pending Review, and Draft. Can we change those to “approved” , “declined”, or “open.” so we do not have to go to the edit page for each idea?

Ah, okay the threshold now makes much more sense. Thanks for answering that question for me.

I just want to clarify that you see this dropdown in the individual idea?

Ohh you want to be able to change those from the edit page. I understand your request now. Not at the moment, but may add this in the future.
Sorry for the confusion there. I was confusing myself I think. Yeah, I was looking to be able to edit the status from the main ideas list. Then, maybe adding like a bulk approve or bulk decline option even further down the road.
Well, I like what you have done so far and will be adding it to my main site soon. Thanks for your time.

No problem! I might try to get this into the next release coming out end of this week. This next release includes public voting.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
