Question on Weight Based Quote

    From what I understand your plugin provides a quote in Weight based shipping.

    Let say for example i sell one book which is 1.5kg but one customer orders 3 orders of the same book.

    The plugin will then get me a price for shipping a package that is 4.5 kg.

    Now if i have to put these books into a box, will the actual shipping cost be greater due to the box dimensions.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Sorry I new to this whole shipping thing.

    Hi @berket13,

    if I understand correctly, do you want the plugin to split products into packages?

    We are currently working on the PRO version, which will add the option to pack into boxes with weights and dimensions.

    So just to confirm the current plugin simply gets a quote based on your package weight?

    is this correct?

    Exactly, plugin gets a rates based on cart weight.
