    Hi,

If we do not need to bring content across a multisite network. We just want each subsite to have its own slider driven by its own content, will this solution work?

    Thanks a lot.

    Hi @gujingc

In Smart Slider 3 you can create dynamic slides from your WordPress posts ( the regular WordPress Posts generator can only retrieve the posts of the current site ):
    https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/139-wordpress-posts-generator

The slider you create will be linked to that site where the slider was created. So you can not display the same slider on your other sites.

For example you have a Multisite with 2 subsites, A and B.
If you create a slider on site A, that won’t be available on site B.
On site B you will need to either create a new one or export and import an existing one and modify it for your needs: https://smartslider3.helpscoutdocs.com/article/370-import-slider

    Best regards,
    Laszlo.

    Laszlo,

If we do not intend to display site A content in site B. Site A will only feature events posted on site A. Site B will only feature events posted on site B, will this plugin support our solution?

    Hi @gujingc

Sure! The dynamic sliders you create on site “A” will come from the content of site “A” and the dynamic sliders you create on site “B” will come from the contents of site “B”.

So you will actually create your sliders separately for both sites, just like you do when you have 2 independent ( non-multisite ) sites.
