    Hi,

First of all, thank you for the great job, you’ve been doing!

What I would like to ask is whether or not your plugin can be used to facilitate my approach to the game. I’ll describe it in a few words to give you some sense about my way of playing.

Each player enters the game with 1$ x total number of games.
Stake for each match is 1$ x number of players. guys who predict exact score divides the stake among them. for example: 10 players = 10$ stake. 3 players guessed correct score – each earns 3$. residual 1$ is added to next game’s stake. if nobody guessed correctly – whole stake goes to the next match.

This kind of a game is really good because it keeps all players engaged till the very end of the tournament, as with one correct score, you can turn your position from the last one to even leading group.

So going back to the plugin. I may be wrong, but now I cannot apply this approach to your plugin, can I?

The thing that could help would be a feature that lets admin manually override scores of matches. then, I would use 1 point for correct score and override this score with current stake.

Is there any way you could ad this kind of feature? Or it is already possible, but I cant see it.

Thanks a lot for the answer.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

This is not possible with the current scoring options. But there are some WordPress filters in the code that can be used to override the scoring system. Looking at your wish, I think it should be possible, but it does require some PHP programming on your end and maybe some extra tables in the database to make it work.

Note: if you use your scoring option, most of the charts that the plugin has by default, won’t work and/or wouldn’t make any sense. So you can’t use them or you should also rewrite those.
