- The backup codes are not provided by the Authenticator App but by WP Ghost. The Authenticator App will provide you with the code required for logging in to your account. As for the backup codes, they are for use when the Authenticator App is not available, you are on a device that doesn’t have it installed, or there is a technical issue.
- No, the 2FA is only for WordPress login page.

I understand about the backup codes and the authentication app codes.
But the ones generated by the app are 6 digits that work perfectly when logging into the account.
However, the WPG backup codes are 8 digits long.
And the field for entering the codes only accepts 6 digits.
Where are those 8-digit codes used?
