That’s a totally understandable situation. When you import a starter site, it brings in all the pages and content that come with that template. The good news is that removing what you don’t need is pretty straightforward — you’ll just do it manually from your WordPress dashboard. Here’s how:
**To delete extra pages:**
1. Go to **Pages** in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Hover over any page you don’t need and click **Trash**.
3. Repeat for all unwanted pages.
**To permanently remove them**, go to **Pages → Trash** and click **Empty Trash**.
**For other imported content** (like posts, media, menus, or widgets you don’t want):
– **Posts** → Go to **Posts**, and trash any you don’t need.
– **Images/Media** → Go to **Media Library** and delete unused files.
– **Menus** → Go to **Appearance → Menus** and remove or edit menu items.
– **Widgets** → Go to **Appearance → Widgets** and remove any unwanted widget areas.
> **Quick tip:** Before deleting anything, it’s always a good idea to take a quick backup of your site — just in case you want to recover something later!
