    Hi setzer,

    Sorry have one more quick inquiry. Am trying out the plug-in using a specific theme and can’t seem to get the footnote # to come out (text is fine, though). I know that you did mention this might happen from theme to theme so I was just wondering if there is anything particular I should be looking for in my theme’s style.css, single.php or sidebar.php to make them visible?

    quiet.mysecret, it’s likely a stylesheet issue. Based on your question, it sounds like your theme’s style.css is somehow overriding the note list’s default list-style-type to none, producing a list without numbers. (It should be decimal, per side-matter.css.)

    I’d have to take a look at the theme files to be sure, though. Is the theme available for download on wp.org?

    Unfortunately, no. The theme isn’t downloadable. But anyway, I was thinking the same thing, if something was overwritten. Let me go through the style.css file to look for that. Thanks again
