Quick Search Property Types Issue

    Hi, I have a strange issue with the Optima Express plugin. I created a quick search shortcode for the home page, and it works perfectly except for one issue: two property types are automatically selected on page load, which means that if a customer isn’t paying attention, their searches will be limited to those two property types. I’ve tried everything I could think of to either select all of them or to keep all of them deselected by default, but the result is the same. I’ve searched the dashboard and even the MLS itself for what could be selecting those two property types, but nothing seems to work.

    I could really use some help with this because this is affecting our sales. Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

    Regarding the default property types that are selected in the Quick Search element, there is not a way to customize and have other property types pre-selected.
    However, you could use a button in place of the search to direct users to a search that has your desired property types selected.

    For example, if you use the following link on a button it would take them to the search page with all property types pre-selected:
    /homes-for-sale-search/?propertyType=SFR,CND,LL,RI,MH,RNT,COM&status=active&sort=importDate
