Quick XML Sitemap Question

Hello,

Thanks for this lovely plugin and great support forum. I’ve just one quick question about SEO. I’ve tried to find a clear, definitive answer elsewhere, but I am still a little uncertain.

So I’ve the Yoast SEO Plugin and it generated my sitemap. I’ve uploaded it to Facebook. Whenever I post a new blog post or something, does this get updated automatically, or do I have to resubmit the sitemap?

And most importantly, now that I have uploaded my XML Sitemap to Google is it still beneficial to post a clear sitemap somewhere? What I mean is like this: http://www.derbahnhof.dk/sitemap.html

I’ve noticed a lot of people do this. Does it help SEO to do that or is it enough to just submit it to Google?
