Quicker bulk optimize
-
Please find a way to do a quicker bulk optimize.
I know the plugin doesn’t reoptimize images that are already optimized – that’s great. But it still seems to check every one (against its table, I guess?) and that can take a really, really long time for large media libraries. If I’ve added just a few new images to my 900+, and they’re somehow not optimized (e.g. say I had EWWW deactivated when they were uploaded), then rather than taking the reasonable minute to do them, I’ll wait an hour while it goes through all the old ones!
Why not just store a date of last bulk optimize and optimize any images newer than that date? (And ignore the date if force reoptimize is checked.) Or something like that. EWWW keeps a huge database table; can’t it be used more effectively?
Thanks for a wonderful plugin in all other respects! ^_^
