• I’m really enjoying using this tool as it offers a lot of flexibility – thank you for the great work, and for updating it quite often!

One thing I’d like to see (if possible) is being able to set the rendering order/layer of an animated gif (placed via a column’s image module) so it renders over or after a section’s background image: Most of the time the animated gif renders first and is immediately covered by the background image.

    Thanks for your review.
OK, your request seems to be about adding an option allowing users to modify the CSS z-index.
Could you point me to an url where I can see this problem ?
If not, would it be possible to screencast the various steps allowing me to reproduce the issue on my end ?
For the screencast, I would recommend this free online tool https://screencast-o-matic.com/home
    Thank you.

Hi Nicolas – thank you for your reply.

Concerning my comment/request, yes I’d be happy to send you a URL to an example.

I’ve applied a password to the site as it’s still development (I’d like to prevent traffic) however would be glad to email you access info – let me know how you’d like to proceed.

    Cheers,
    – Billy

I’ve done some more testing, and realize that although the gif had been placed in its native/original dimensions, my Customizr Pro retina support had been inadvertently turned on: I’ve turned off retina support and the animated gif is now playing correctly over the background image, on all tested devices.

Regardless, thank you for following up with this.

OK. Thank you for those informations.
I did not receive an email from you yet, sent with the contact form. Did you send it ?

Hi Nicolas – I figured this issue out myself (solution posted above) and did not need assistance with modifying the CSS z-index.
