Quite Intrigued

I was looking to launch a mobile version of my website, which this plugin says it can do, but I ran into a few problems.
For informational purposes I’m using a premium theme with WPBakery installed and a mobile version already working by doing some fiddling about with the viewports in the WPBakery modules so that some can be seen, and other modules cannot be seen in the mobile version.
WPTouch doesn’t seem to like this though, and the background stays as a white colour no matter what I put into the customiser and the modules are now all taken from the desktop version rather than the mobile site version.
So is WPTouch workable with WPBakery, and if so how do you remove single modules and replace them with the correct ones?
