    Hi,

    The error message is: “WP YouTube Lyte got the following error back from the YouTube API: quotaExceeded” On what planet? I have just one video linked to with WP Youtube Lyte on my website.

    Hi Philippe; I’ve seen this as well on my own site(s) a couple of times over the years, but I’m afraid I have no idea why Google (YouTube) would claim quota to be exceeded, as the data is cached for 2 months before a new request is fired against the YT API.

    the good news; LYTE reports the error, but will use the result from cache and will simply try again and update the cache when a result is received from YT 🙂

    I am not sure that I understand it all, but as you say, the good news is that this error message does not prevent LYTE from doing its job.
