When I create / edit a quote, and click the editor button to “Add contact form”, code appears to be inserted correctly to reflect the fields I’ve specified. But that’s then just displayed in the quote (pdf and html) as though it were normal text.

The code that’s inserted is like this:
    [contact-form][contact-field label='Preferred mobile' type='text'/][contact-field label='Day of the week' type='checkbox'/][/contact-form]

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Hi @robertvarnam,

Thank you for reporting this issue. We were able to reproduce it, and I see what you mean.

The issue is that Jetpack Contact Form isn’t designed to be added to Quotes templates in the first place. So our developers will work on removing the Add Contact Form button from the Quote Template editor. I’m sorry about the confusion!

To explain, the Jetpack Contact Form extension is designed to be added to any page or post, not embedded into a quote template. You can add the shortcode either using the classic editor or block editor for any post or page, following this guide: https://kb.jetpackcrm.com/knowledge-base/jetpack-contact-forms/

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi @robertvarnam,

That’s great to hear! It’s our pleasure! 🙂

    Hi @robertvarnam

Just wanted to let you know that our developers have fixed this issue in the new version 4.9.0. Once the plugin is updated, there shouldn’t be an Add Contact Form button.

Please let us know if you see any issues or have further questions!

    Best,
    Alba
